You did a lot better than me, Stephanie. I normally only post one, maybe two, stories a day but I posted three on the first day of the new system so I had more to work with in gauging the results. One of the 3 stories was curated but it was the worst performing of the 3 stories. Between the 3 stories I had a total of 42 reads and earned a total of 48 cents so I’m earning a little over a penny per read. (I’m not jumping up and down with glee over that.)

I did not have time to go through thousands of older stories to see if I made any money on them. I wish the stats page would have a daily earning total for all stories combined so that we don’t have to go through each and every story then add them all up. That would be nice.

I think it’s important to remember that every time Medium pushes through a humongous change like this everything gets extremely wonky for several days until all the bugs get worked out. So it could take a while before we will really know how beneficial this change is.

The other thing I noticed is that claps per view are WAY down.
