Yes, beginning Sept. 1 Medium will have the right to take our copyrighted work and do with it whatever the hell they want without us receiving so much as one thin dime in compensation. That is what the new TOS clearly states. The real frustration is that we writers have no say in the matter at all. We are given only two choices: accept the terms or leave.

What we writers desperately need is a high profile law firm taking up our case pro bono to give us a voice against this travesty that Medium is perpetrating against us. We need a team of lawyers representing us sitting across the table from Ev Williams' lawyers if we are going to have any voice in this. Without that Mr. Williams will feel free to screw us over for every penny he can make from our work.
