When you take the plow harness off a horse and set it out to pasture for its retirement you never, ever see the horse come running back and pleading to have the harness put back on. Horses are smart.

By that analogy I guess I'm pretty smart, too. I simply cannot fathom how anyone can be bored in retirement. I don't have time to be bored--or start up a hobby. I'm too busy enjoying life out of the harness.

I've been retired for over a year now and I have gotten healthier, too. I don't need a Fitbit to tell me that and that's a good thing because I can't stand having anything around my wrists. (I haven't worn a watch in over 40 years.) I must have been handcuffed a lot in some former life. :)
