When I was a young whippersnapper I never missed a Jacques Costeau special. I fantasized a lot about scuba diving into those ‘worlds below.’ But I’ve never done it. It’s Too Late may have been one of my favorite Carole King songs but, as you pointed out, Ann, it really never is too late. I can still do that at my age.

Yesterday was the first day of school for my two granddaughters. My daughter sent me a picture of the oldest granddaughter posing before going into the school building on her first day of third grade. She looked so happy and it reminded me of how excited I always got on the first day of school. It was always so exciting to start something new. And it still is. I just haven’t started anything new lately.

But I’m thinking about it.
