Vitamin J
Are you getting enough?
Any astute noggin doctor will tell you that vitamin J is crucially important to mental health. Any guru worth their salt will tell you that vitamin J is critically important to spiritual health. Sadly, not many physicians or surgeons will tell their patients of the profound importance of vitamin J to the health of our bodies.
Numerous unsubstantiated, non-scientific studies have shown that vitamin J may be the most important vitamin to our health and that vitamin J deficiency has become epidemic in scope and may very well be one of the leading causes of death among humans.
Do you get enough vitamin J every day? If not, you will not find it in pill form in the Supplements section of your local Wal-Mart — or on Amazon. According to many anonymous, self-proclaimed experts, vitamin J can not be artificially manufactured. Apparently, it has to be experienced.
So how can you get more vitamin J? Professionals who claim to have studied vitamin J all their lives have some suggestions about where it can be found:
- Animals and nature
- Sunshine
- Walking barefoot on a beach
- Holding a newborn human baby in your arms for at least 15 minutes
- Dancing
- Having contact with other humans
- Travel
- Meditation
- Occasional nudity
- Gardening
- Writing
- Tree hugging
Some rogue scientists claim that one of the biggest sources of vitamin J is laughter. Apparently, as we laugh our abdominal muscles massage both the solar plexus and the heart and in the process vitamin J is actually produced by our bodies. Many comedians have become fabulously wealthy knowing this secret knowledge.
And that’s the rub. While our bodies desperately need vitamin J to stay healthy, our very bodies produce vitamin J! It’s the activities we partake in and the attitudes we maintain that help induce the body to produce this life-giving vitamin. The best place to find vitamin J is within.
Of course people are always asking if vitamin J can be found in any of the foods we eat. Preliminary studies conducted both here and abroad are now indicating that vitamin J can indeed be found in what we eat. Some of those foods include:
- Ice cream
- Chocolate
- Peaches
- Pizza
- Cheesecake
- Hatch green chile
Of course more study is needed. It seems that the amount of vitamin J extracted from food is different with each food for every individual. Also, the attitude held and one’s environment play a role in how much vitamin J is absorbed. One clinical trial in an obscure Asian country found that the amount of vitamin J absorbed is greatly enhanced when the food is eaten out of doors.
Most all of the so-called experts agree that vitamin J is extremely abundant — especially since it can be produced from within us. It is everywhere. Yet the epidemic of vitamin J deficiency remains pervasive. If you suffer from it, learn more about vitamin J and know that there is help out there for you. Don’t suffer in silence.
In case you’re wondering what the J stands for, it stands for joy.
