The Weather Complainer

Do you know someone like this?

Marjorie complained about the weather all the time. That is how much she disliked herself and her life situation. If it was windy she complained. If it was too hot or too cold she complained. If it was raining or snowing she complained. If it was too humid or too dry she complained.

Occasionally, however, there came some days that were so gloriously beautiful and perfect that she simply could not find a single thing to complain about. It was on these days that she liked herself and her life.

If only I could control the weather, she thought to herself.
