The great blue heron is a tall, long-legged bird that stands in the water and waits and waits and waits until it sees what must be grasped. It plunges its long beak into the water of the subconscious to spear that which feeds the continuing evolutionary progression of all consciousness.

When a great blue heron comes into our awareness it is a sign that the subconscious and the conscious suddenly come into alignment and thus movement occurs in the ever-moving trajectory of our evolution. Like the great blue heron, we exist in more than one dimension of reality at the same time. It is when we bring these seemingly different dimensions together that we realize our multi-dimensionality and begin to touch our true power. The great blue heron shows us the door to our multidimensional power. As all birds do, it shows us the grace that awaits our acceptance. It subtly shows us the path to our power. And it shows us the joy of transcendence.

We must always listen to the birds.
