The story I submitted for your previously published call received a handful of new reads and a few claps and for this I am eternally grateful. Thank you so much. I still think it was a brilliant idea. It would be nice if those old stories weren’t chained to the bottom of the abyss by their dates but linking to them works and it’s the best we can do.

When I saw your call for the Valentine’s Day Challenge I had to slap my forehead. I had written a Valentine’s story and published it the other day. I had forgotten all about your Valentine’s Day Challenge! The story probably would have done much better if I had submitted it to the Scene & Heard. Oh well, maybe I can come up with another — although I’ve been thinking about taking a retreat from Medium for a while to get my molecules in order. The vibratory dissonance around here has got me all out of whack. A blizzard of epiphanies has also helped to throw me askew. I’m waiting for a really big one to set me back in alignment. I feel it coming….
