The Day Before the Big Day
Still figuring out what to do
Here it is the morning of April 17th and looking out my window I once again see the neighborhood landscape covered in a blanket of snow. This was our fourth snowstorm (so far) in April.
Thankfully, the clouds are gone so the sun should have this snow melted by noon. Personally, I think it should be against the law to snow in April. I mean seriously; it’s just plain wrong! Of course that law would be incredibly difficult to enforce. And besides, we already have enough laws.
The important thing is tomorrow’s weather. The official weather prognosticators are calling for a cloudless sunny warm day. They better be correct! It is very important.
In regards to the Big Day I’m afraid I am guilty of procrastination. I have done almost no planning. And now it’s about to be too late. I’ve got to figure something out today.
Of course the Big Day isn’t really all that big of a day for me. I usually don’t do much out of the ordinary but I do try to do at least one special thing. Unfortunately, this year I have yet to figure out what that will be.
In past years I have always tried to incorporate a nice long nature walk into the Big Day. But since I almost always do that it’s not special, right? Occasionally I have taken myself out to eat…
