The daffodils here have not yet poked up out of the ground — if they have we can’t see them with the half foot of snow on the ground. Yesterday’s low temperature was 8 degrees below zero (Fahrenheit). I can’t yet say that I’ve survived winter because we still have 4 to 6 weeks of it to go — if it ever ends. But you know what I say to that? I say, “So what!”
I’m going to take your advice and celebrate anyway. I normally don’t celebrate any Christian holidays but I’m going to celebrate anyway. It’s highly doubtful that I’ll see any breasts today but I’m going to celebrate anyway. The sun is actually shining today and that is reason enough to celebrate. And I’m also going to celebrate the new moon tomorrow and the equinox in two weeks. Thanks for the advice. I just haven’t been celebrating enough lately.
