The Audience Awaits

What will happen?

Ares, the mythological female awakener, is watching
That’s what the astrologers say

According to the trees I hug and talk to
Mother Gaia is also watching

The birds sing as they watch and wait
The bunnies make no sound as they watch

The ancient temple stones listen
For the rumbling of tremors

The musicians are silent
Waiting for the raising of the baton

The clouds look down upon us
Along with the angels sitting on them

Everyone is waiting and watching
To see what we will do
