That’s what we all need right now; giggles and smiles.
Yesterday I decided to distance myself from the mass hysteria so I spent an hour watching stand-up comedy videos on YouTube — something I haven’t done in a very long time. It helped a bit.
Of course, I then realized that 95% of all comedy nowadays is about sex and relationships. After that hour I was ready to distance myself from all thoughts of sex and relationships — which is a joke since I’m already just about as distant as I can get.
But the important thing is that I laughed. I exercised my laugh muscles. Those particular muscles are vitally important to our health, especially our immune system. If we can’t laugh right now then we are surely doomed.
