Thanks for bringing up hanging clothes on a clothes line, Sylvia Clare . Many young people don’t even know what that is. It’s something people did in the ‘olden days.’ I used to do it years ago but I can’t now because my apartment building doesn’t have a clothes line. As I walk this town I see very, very few functioning clothes lines. There are a few clothes line posts but no wires connecting them. I always considered it a meditation, too, and I wrote a story about it; Hanging Laundry.
