elizabeth tobey I find your pride in the desecration of the English language to be a tiny, itty bitty bit disconcerting. The internet is doing to language what hamburger meat grinders do to cows. In another 5 to 7 years the English language will no longer exist thanks to the profound lack of respect it receives on the internet. Then, sadly, no one will understand a word I’m saying. I guess if I want any heart recommendations I, too, should develop a contempt and disdain of language. I’m not sure I can do that and will therefore probably suffer the consequences. I will be doomed to spend my final years searching for people who still speak and write English. I doubt I will find any on the internet. I may die alone. (Or is that now called, ‘solitary deathing?’) I’m such an obstinate old fool. Sorry about that.
