Thank you for your response, Kitty. There was a little voice in the back of my noggin that kept saying, “Don’t do it. Don’t publish that. You’ll regret it.”
But that little voice was wrong. I don’t regret it. I actually feel so much better getting that off my chest rather than repressing it. Too many of us are afraid of taking a stand for fear of judgment and the loss of followers. Unfortunately, that only further enables Trump’s atrocities. It’s Germany in the 1930s all over again, except it’s happening in America. After reading about and seeing video detailing the horrific inhumane conditions in Trump’s concentration camps I simply could not repress my feelings. I had to speak out. You are so very correct, Kitty, that apathy is the enemy of freedom.
