I have a little announcement to make to my small community of readers but first I want to share something that happened to me this morning.

As my regular readers know, I have been including Earthing into my daily spiritual practices. For the last few months it has been something that I do between one and four times a day every single day. The first time I do it each day is very soon after awakening in the morning. My favorite morning place to go do my Earthing is the expansive lawn in front of the elementary school just a block away from where I live.

Incorporating Earthing into my daily life has been one of the most wonderful things I have ever done for myself. I am so grateful for this as my mental, physical, and spiritual health has significantly improved because of this practice.

But don’t worry. I do not plan on expatiating on the concept of Earthing right now. I’ve already done that and surely will blabber more about it in the future. Right now, I just want to share what happened this morning as I was walking barefoot and hugging trees down by the schoolyard.

We had a lot of rain here on the Great Plains last week and suddenly we have a bumper crop of mushrooms popping up everywhere. So it was no surprise that as I walked…
