Some people believe that Jesus was the seventh reincarnation of the first Zoroaster. When Jesus was born he was the heir to two thrones; king of the Jews and leader of the Zoroastrians. He accepted neither crown, however, because he did not want to lead a religion nor create one. He had already done that. Of course Christianity was formed anyway after his death.

The sixth Zoroaster predicted that he would be born again in a land that was not Persia and he left precise astrological calculations of where and when he could be found in his new reincarnation. This is the whole ‘Three Wise Men’ story, which I wrote about here:
