Snowy Rainbow Mojo

I don’t know if I had the mojo but at that time in my life the mojo was following me around everywhere I went. It was December and I was living in Santa Fe, New Mexico with my newlywed bride and our newly-born daughter. (In Spanish, Santa Fe means, City of Faith.)

I was walking home from work to my little family. It was snowing lightly and the wind was frightfully cold. I was shivering.

There are a few different mountain peaks that look down upon the old city of Santa Fe (the second oldest city in America). One of these peaks, Atalaya Mountain, constantly drew my vision towards it. I couldn’t stop looking at it. It reminded me of several different mountains that I have known in both this life and others.

As I walked home, which was in the direction of Atalaya Mountain towards the east/southeast, the sun was setting behind me under the blanket of clouds that covered the city. It was snowing and the sun came out just before it set.

I glanced up towards Atalaya mountain and lo and behold a triple rainbow appeared over the mountain. I immediately stopped walking and stared at the triple rainbow. I was utterly transfixed. Suddenly, I could no longer feel the cold. I became impervious to temperature. I was thrown into a trance state. I stared at the triple rainbow until the sun fully set and the rainbow dissipated.

I could never forget that experience as long as I live. It was one of the most spiritual experiences of my life.

It was not just a triple rainbow but it was one not caused by rain but rather snow.

In Spanish the word Atalaya means, Watchtower. In Arabic and Hindi it means, Guard Tower. In Hindi it is also a girl’s name. I didn’t know it yet at the time but my newborn baby girl and I once had an experience together in ancient Persia over 8,000 years ago when she was imprisoned in a guard tower and I rescued her.

Surely a coincidence, no doubt.
