Ron, you are seeing Christmas from an adult (and Christian) perspective. Small children don’t see it from the same perspective as you do because they have not yet been brainwashed with all that stuff. If you really think small children see Christmas ONLY as the receiving of material gifts (or playing out religious dogma) then you need to meet my granddaughters and feel what they’re feeling. It has nothing to do with commerce or religion. Those are merely left-brained adult perceptions.
