Rahul Misra , I would suggest not giving up yet. Like Anna Breslin alluded to, Medium is constantly screwing up, then getting better, then screwing up again, then getting better, then screwing up again, then getting better, and so forth. If I quit Medium every time they screwed things up I would have quit Medium a hundred times by now. At their current rate of taking one step forward for every 3 steps backwards they might just eventually become the best thing ever. They are pretty close now except for the constant steps backwards they are taking.

Don’t quit the membership yet. Next week when I get paid I plan on FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY paying for membership. I figure if I can make a few pennies writing here then I can surely pay a few pennies for reading here. After all the calamitous changes of the last few weeks I was ready and eager to decide not to pay for membership. But something tells me not to give up on Medium. Even though they are constantly falling on their asses they keep getting up and continuing to forge forward. Eventually, some day, they will finally breach the envelope and become what we all hope they will become. Right now they are way ahead of any website on the internet even if they don’t realize it. They are so close! We just need to continue to kick them in the ass to help propel them forward. All we can do is hope they listen and support them as long as we can stand to.
