Party Resolution

A recluse begins a list

Joel did not know when the party ended. He left at two in the morning and it was still going. It was the first real party that he had gone to in perhaps a dozen years. He would have left earlier except he got sucked into some deep conversations.

He had not had any deep conversations in a long time either. He suddenly realized that he missed that. When did he become such a recluse?

If felt great to connect with other humans on a deep personal level. A deep profound conversation can leave an imprint on the skein of time and space, forging a very human connection that seems timeless. Thinking back over his life, Joel remembered all the major events that took place but he also remembered those important conversations he had, not just with relationship partners but also with friends and a few with strangers.

Realizing the importance of communication with others and connection with others, he decided that his life had gone off course and he needed to get it back on track. It was time for his recluse days to end. He wanted that human connection again.

Joel tried to remember the last time he threw a party of his own. He could not remember exactly. It must have been at least fifteen years ago. He decided he wanted to throw a party. It did not even have to be a party; just a…
