Oh my. Sorry about that, Hank. The next time you go for a walk with your wife you might want to make sure she sees you sniffing flowers. You can tell her that you’re trying to catch up. And it’s perfectly okay to pick a few of those flowers to give to her. Just be sure to smell them first.

Hmm… Now that I think about it, men gift women with flowers all the time. (But do they smell the flowers first?) Maybe it’s time to flip that custom around. Perhaps it’s time for women to give men flowers — insisting, of course, that the men smell those flowers. That might just speed things up.
