Next month it will be four years that I’ve been on Medium and I can say with absolute certainty that your Henry James stories are the very best fiction series I’ve ever read on Medium. Bar none. I am totally hooked. When I come to Medium to read (and not write) the very first thing I check for is a new Henry James story.

But in the last four years Medium has shown nothing but disdain for fiction. Their attitude toward fiction has not changed one iota. Hoping to make money writing fiction on Medium is a fool’s errand. It’s like ramming one’s head against a brick wall. That’s why I am so, so, so glad that you are brave enough to write fiction anyway despite Medium’s contempt for fiction. You are one of my heroes.
