Loved your article! I have no idea what a sigmoidoscopy is but I have first-hand knowledge of what a colonoscopy is. That also requires a complete evacuation of everything accumulated in the bowels and it also requires one never to be more than 8 feet away from a toilet for over 24 hours. So I can totally relate to what you went through. I'm not sure how much weight I lost but it was definitely a few pounds over the course of a day. Someday I'll have to tell my story of how I lost 4.6 pounds in only a little over 3 hours.
