Joy and Abundance
Are we still looking at all of it backwards?
In your life, are you doing what brings you joy or are you doing what you expect to bring you money? Is money the reason you do things or is it the byproduct that comes to you as a result of doing what brings you joy? What role does money play in your life? What role does joy play in your life?
We are conditioned to perceive the value of anything in terms of dollars and cents. We have been taught that money is the goal and joy is the byproduct of attaining that goal when in actuality it is the other way around. We have been conditioned to live life backwards and by accepting this conditioning we have set ourselves up for lives of lack and struggle.
We strive to attain enough money where we can feel comfortable enough to allow ourselves some joy. But we cannot fully experience that joy when our values are based on money. How much joy we experience will always be measured by how much money we have attained. And even when we have struck it rich the joy we seem to experience as a result is not the true pure unconditional joy that we can feel by living and expressing creatively for its own sake.
