It’s a little sad to see that there is not a single person working at Medium who is over the age of 50. Perhaps this helps explain why most all of the writings that Medium curates and promotes are hyper-focused on youth and tech. We old fogeys are just irrelevant — unless we’re celebrities or politicians with enormous followings. Many cultures consider gray hair to be a sign of wisdom and experience. Is there so much as one single solitary gray hair on the head of any Medium worker? To me, this seems like Medium’s most glaring deficiency.
