It was the opposite for me. Back when I was a full-time stay at home mom I was an early morning person (as I’ve always been) and the two female humans in the family were both late-night people. The two female animals in the family (the dog and cat) were both precisely synched with my patterns. They got up in the morning the second I did and they went to sleep when I did at night.
My late-night daughter ended up marrying a late-night man so they are actually in synch. But guess what? Both of their daughters are morning people. My morning genes skipped a generation.
Going back to the original family, the two female humans and I may not have shared the same sleep patterns but one thing we did have in common was a deep appreciation for Bette Midler. Keep this up Ann and you might just get me to start listening to music again. (That could be a good thing.)
