It sounds to me like this “global ledger” is the ultimate middleman. Instead of having tons of middlemen we’ll have just one. I really don’t see how this middleman ledger will rid the entire world of all crime, all greed, all war, all conflict, and somehow turn every last human on the planet into an enlightened, empathetic being in just 18 years. All from an algorithmic database that controls everyone’s lives? The only thing powerful enough to change the world that radically is unconditional love and that is something no magic algorithm can create.
