I’m not sure what that other Marilyn French novel you have is but if it’s, The Bleeding Heart, then I definitely recommend it. I loved it way more than, The Women’s Room. It was so, so long ago that I read it but it had such a profound impact on me that I remember it with extreme fondness. It was a genuine trophy on my bookshelf for years but sadly it did not survive one of my several book purges.
