I wonder if the people on either side of the wall that separates Gaza from Jewish Israel ever try to communicate with one another, telling each other what it’s like on their side of the wall. I wonder if there will be such communication when (if) the border wall with Mexico is finished. Everywhere one looks these days walls are going up. The entire world seems to be frantically building walls. I was never much of a fan of Ronald Reagan but I keep hearing his voice in the back of my head, saying, “Tear down that wall Mr. Gorbachev!”
