I was thoroughly enjoying your article about the rain. Then you mentioned that you were listening to Coldplay which meant that you were only experiencing the visual aspects of the rain. You weren’t hearing it (a powerful aspect of rain). I dismissed that and continued reading, luxuriating in your experience. Then you mentioned that you noticed a crane. My heart went all a-flutter. I am a bird freak and I especially love cranes. But as I kept reading I realized that you weren’t talking about birds at all. You were talking about construction equipment. What a let down that was. Despite that, I still enjoyed you lovely writing. Thank you.
