I may be officially classified as a ‘senior citizen’ but I, like those precious millennials, also don’t like being told things. I, too, like to discover and think for myself. When I see a question I stop and think about it and play with it with my mind and imagination rather than immediately skipping the thinking process and just letting Google tell me the correct answer. Why think and imagine if you have a ‘smart’ phone with access to Google?
I may be a senior citizen but I fully intend to still be alive in 2035. Why do I not matter in all this? Why do people ten, twenty and thirty years younger than me not matter? Why are the millennials the only ones that matter? Why are you marketing exclusively to them? They won’t be the only ones alive in 2035. Silicon Valley suffers from extreme tunnel vision as they focus exclusively on millennials. (No one is more guilty of this than Medium.) I would suggest that you not succumb to this same tunnel vision. Non-millenials matter. We are part of it all.
