I loved this! It seems like a hundred years ago when I read Jane Roberts’ Oversoul 7 Trilogy but it had a serious impact on me, too (as did her other books). In regard to ‘chosen names’ and ‘birth names’ many Native Americans changed their names throughout their lives. They would have a childhood name then a teenage name then an adult name. Then some would also have an old age name. That makes so much more sense to me than having only one name which was chosen by one’s parents throughout one’s life.

By the way, according to the ancient Chaldean/Kabbalah system of numerology, when you changed your name from Ben Lower to Story Waters you changed your name numerology from 8 to 2. This actually corresponds to the life changes you described. Not knowing your birth number (derived from the day of the month you were born on), it still looks like you significantly boosted your name mojo. I’m betting you have a lot of double number mojo in your life. (Double numbers include 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, etc.) You’re probably also attracted to people with water signs, especially Cancers.
