I had no idea that green eyes were that rare. I once worked at a job located in the Hispanic barrio just three blocks from the border crossing into Mexico. Of the 56 employees I was the only white guy and the only one with green eyes. Everyone called me, Ojos Verde. My eyes were brown when I was born but they turned green when I went into puberty. Now that I’m an old fart they are very slowly starting to turn gray.
