I can't help but ask why Medium doesn't offer these things? One of the reasons I've been moving to Substack is because they provide audio & Medium doesn't. Then again, having audio on Medium can decrease revenue since if someone is just listening and not reading/scrolling there is less 'read time.' Medium doesn't pay by 'listening time.' You have to be reading and constantly scrolling.

I think this may be why some poets I follow put their audio version of the poem at the bottom of the page instead of the top.

Anyway, thanks for the info. The stats extensions look interesting but the last thing I need is more stats to look at. For me, that takes time away from writing.
