I can understand how a ‘vacation life’ can seem dull. The Readings gave examples of people living ‘vacation lives’ and they were very exciting and adventurous. The level of excitement and adventure experienced in a ‘vacation life’ is strictly determined by the one living it. The key word is ‘adventure.’

Yup, I was a warrior, too. I killed hundreds if not thousands of people. And in the next life I was a healer. There was a point in my current life where I presented myself with the option of being a healer again. But I chose to instead do something that I really, really, really wanted to do in my life as a healer but didn’t do in order to devote myself to healing.

Of course, I can still do healing. I’ve been a healer in several lives. And I’ve done some serious healing in this life (both on others and myself). But I made the conscious choice of taking a different path. It’s a path that I’ve needed to get out of my system and, by George, I’m doing it. It is,no doubt, the more difficult path but it is what I chose. There is no looking back. (Maybe I won’t have to do it again.)
