There, I just admitted it to the world

I am a parsley freak. I try to eat fresh parsley every single day. It is one of the most nutrient-dense foods we can eat. It is not only profoundly healthy for you but it also has a rich, fantastic flavor. It goes with so many different foods and it’s even wonderful all by itself. Sadly, parsley is so often relegated to the role of garnish. Yes, it’s pretty and very green but it’s real power lies in its mojo when eaten.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, parsley has far more vitamin C than citrus fruits but everybody knows that. And surely everyone knows that fresh parsley is super-rich in pro-vitamin A, calcium, chlorophyll, natural sodium, magnesium and iron. Not everyone may know, however, that parsley helps to hasten measles recovery, or helps to detoxify from meat or fish poisoning, or that it helps with kidney, bladder, or gall stones, or that parsley strengthens the adrenal glands, or that it benefits brain and optic nerves, or that it is used for ear infections, or that drinking parsley tea strengthens the teeth, or that using it on your skin increases circulation and adds color to your skin. Did you know any of that?

In addition to all those yummy healthy things inside parsley there is something else to be considered that many people don’t consider and that is color. We need to eat all the colors and…
