Gracias, Kerry Kuhn . I used to know so much more Spanish back when I was surrounded by Spanish speaking people. It’s amazing how much and how quickly one can forget a language when it is not used on a regular basis. Or maybe that’s just me.

I actually grew up bilingual in Europe but after moving to America at age 5 I almost immediately forgot everything but the American English I was then surrounded by. I used to wish that everyone on the planet spoke the same language but that was before I realize that they do. The differences in verbal and written languages are what are what adds spice to life and opportunities to use the language we all share.
