Going Beyond Learning

And entering a new paradigm

I have learned that once you lose your virginity it is really, really, really hard to get it back.

(But I keep trying.)

I have learned that once you grow up it is very difficult to go back.

(But I keep trying.)

I have learned that once you have formed an opinion it is like getting a tattoo. Everyone sees it and forms an instant counter opinion.

(I have no tattoos despite all the ones everyone sees.)

I have learned that the past may be over but we continue to drag it around behind us.

(And we are seen with the luggage we carry.)

I have learned that the love we express is never pure.

(And is construed as selfishness.)

I have learned that the wisdom we have gained, when expressed…

(is also construed as selfishness.)

I have learned that we really have very little wisdom

(and this is also construed as selfishness.)

I have learned that one’s self is what matters

(And this is also construed as selfishness.)
