“ Instead, I found the knowledge that I needed to give myself the permission to let it crash and walk away from the wreckage on to a better and healthier relationship.” — Aura Wilming

For so many, the problem is that once a relationship crashes and burns they get out of the wreckage and walk away immediately to the next available car. No one seems to notice the alternative option of walking away from the wreck and the road into the sunny meadow adjacent to the highway. Standing alone in the middle of this quiet meadow filled with birdsong, butterflies, sunshine and a wind filled with earthly scents washing through one’s hair, one can accidentally get in touch with a whole different kind of desire; a desire that has nothing to do with hormones or pheromones or emotional reactions and needs. It’s the most dreaded of all relationships; a relationship with our self. It’s a relationship where desire is not pointed at another human but rather at life itself. And that changes any and all relationships that then pass through our lives.
