Fahrenheit is a fool
Freezing is the captured detritus along the shore
Loneliness is the filter skewering the image
Hopelessness is the inability to see
Shadow is the keeper of secrets
And the opaque water refuses to give up
the reflection of that
which transcends that which hides below the surface
