Happy Paradise Day

Celebrating the planet we are part of

--

We are interstellar beings who came to this paradise of a planet and gathered elements from the planet to create a biological vessel through which we could directly experience life in paradise.

We eventually kick the bucket and that part of us constructed from the planet returns to the planet. Over the entire course of our lives we are part of the planet.

It is wise and natural for us to celebrate that which we are part of. Sadly, over the course of recent millennia we have developed the belief that we are somehow separate from the planet. In that belief we began destroying the planet that we are an intricate part of.

And therefore we began destroying ourselves.

We cannot save ourselves unless we save the planet. And we cannot save the planet unless we save ourselves. (Sending over seven billion people to Mars is not the answer.)

Why leave paradise when all we have to do is remember and realize that profoundly intimate connection we have with it? This is the only planet we have that connection to.

Some of us celebrate paradise on one particular day; Earth Day (today). I think it would be better to celebrate it every single day, throughout the day. I think we should be in a constant state of celebration for both the paradise without and the paradise within. The self-constructed illusory barrier between the two paradises is what needs to be destroyed.

Happy Earth Day from a fellow Earthling.
