(A poem of sorts.)

When you are nickle and diming it
the dimes are the big bucks

I don’t know what it is about cacti…
They are just so soothing

Today was haircut day at the plant table
I went in with a machete

I went for a walk
and went the long way

Found something I had recently mis-alphabetized
I was dismayed by my negligence

But then I chuckled

Now going on another walk
still looking for that shortcut

The bunny rabbits will be coming out soon

I’ve been listening to lawn mowers all freaking day
I am so gosh-darn lucky!

But enough already
