Christy White , you and Knausgaard both seem to have a tiny touch of Henry Miller to your writing. I haven’t thought of Miller in a long time but this story of yours definitely made me think of him. When it came to writing advice, Miller’s advice was to stop thinking so much and just sing. Sing! Well, I truly like your singing.

Henry Miller’s books are considered ‘autobiographical fiction.’ I don’t really care for labels. I recently wrote about this here: The Truth About Fiction and Non-fiction . I do, however, love the notion of singing.
