When all humans are naked
Imagine getting up one morning and you are naked. You were wearing your Crusty the Clown pajamas when you went to bed the night before, but you mysteriously wake up naked. When you walk through the cold air to the closet, you realize to your amazement that all your clothes have disappeared. You ransack the house looking for clothing, but you cannot find one single piece, not even a sock.
Unbeknownst to you, the entire population of the planet woke up that morning naked. For a few of them, it was just like any morning, but for the rest, it was quite alarming. Billions of people all head to their closets only to find that all of their clothes have disappeared. People are frantic all over the globe. Billions of people head for their bathrooms and a towel to put around them, but to everyone’s dismay, all the towels have disappeared, too. Parents everywhere are searching for something to cover themselves with before the kids wake up. No one has even thought yet what they are going to do about going to work (or school).
America is brought to its knees. No one shows up for work because everyone is naked and cannot find any clothes. The schools shut down, industry shuts down, the police are suddenly all running for cover, politicians have all gone into hiding, the military is immobilized as attention is…
