Ah yes, after posting my response to you I finally remembered that odd bit of Catholicism. I’m glad they did away with it. The organ of our head hair is where we hold our mojo. The intensely male-centric misogynistic Catholic church is threatened by female mojo. (Other religions also attempt to subdue female mojo by forcing females to hide or cover their hair.) It is time we all let our hair down.
