Actually, very little fighting is on a physical level. Even if it does not manifest on a physical level it is still fighting energy. It can be a mistake to think that keeping fighting energy from manifesting physically and diverting it into peaceful energy endeavors transforms the fighting energy into peaceful energy. The Warrior’s fighting energy is saturated with negative karma and hate and fury. Toning it down by simply merging it with peaceful energy does not transcend the energy; it just waters it down. I’ve learned this first-hand. Working toward a pacifist ideal using fighting warrior energy dooms the endeavor. It’s an illusory trap. It’s like trying to put out a fire by spraying gasoline on it.
The dichotomy of the pacifist energy and the warrior energy provides a grand opportunity to transcend BOTH energies; to go beyond them and open up to a totally different energy. Those two energies cannot be transcended by mixing them together in some carefully measured cocktail. It is through the null point between those polarities that we can move out of the polarity completely and open up to an infinitely more powerful energy available to us outside of that polarity in the one-ness we can enter through that null point.
The Pacifist and the Warrior have been great teachers to me and there have been many other karmic sub-personalities that have also been great teachers. (Many.) Every great and successful teacher pushes their student above and beyond what that teacher teaches and represents. A teacher is not great and successful until they have become unnecessary and obsolete. Holding on to their energy and not going beyond it keeps us from becoming great and successful students.
