A Warning About Tree-hugging
How Mother Nature kept me indoors this morning
I have written ad nauseum about Earthing and tree-hugging. I’m sure everyone is sick of it. But this morning I am going to write about NOT Earthing and NOT tree-hugging so everyone can relax.
For the first time in several months I did not partake of my early morning sunrise Earthing and tree-hugging ritualistic practice today. Mother Nature would not let me. Apparently she thought I needed a break.
This morning I awoke to a violent thunderstorm that lasted over an hour. Normally around this neck of the prairie thunderstorms happen in the afternoon and evening. So it was rather disconcerting to wake up to violent wind and rain pouring through my opened bedroom window. Since my bed is right by the window I was awakened by being rained on. I can’t remember the last time that happened.
So I could not go to the school yard to do my naked feet walking and tree-hugging. I was dramatically shaken out of my regular morning routine. I was dazed and disoriented and upset. Couldn’t Mother Nature have waited before she let loose the dogs of weather?
I have not missed a single morning of Earthing in months. How could I proceed with my day without my grounding? But then I remembered that prior to when I started Earthing I had gone…
